SIR, -I beg to intimate that I have just purchased the whole of the Bookselling, Stationery, and Music Stock of the assigned estate of Mr Newton Fairs, ■ and that the business will be carried on by me as usual. A valuable shipment of goods, ex Loch Dee, is now being taken into stock ; other shipments are shortly expected. Arrangements are also being made with some of the leading London [ houses for a regular supply of Books, Periodicals, Stationery, and other articles suitable for tliis market. MAGAZINES &c. — Subscribers' names for periodicals can be enrolled at any time. Monthly Sarcels, per Orient line, arrive from Lonon, containing selections of the latest publications. Any article not in stock will be procured on the shortest notice. MUSIC. — I shall make musical publications a special line, by h"ving, per mails, the latest Magazines, Songs, and Pieces. A spacimen Piano is now on view from the celebrated makers, Brinsmead and Sons, for whose instruments I shall be happy to indent orders on liberal term§. Having had considerable experience ill the Bookselling and Stationery Business 1 for a number of years with Mr E.
