YESTERDAY MORNING'S SITTING.
Wellington, Yesterday. In the House this morning the Special Powers and Contracts Bill was read a second time, and referred to the Waste Lands Committee before committal. The Debtors' and Creditors' Bill was read a second time, and ordered to be committed on a future occasion. On the motion for the second rending of the Impounding Bill its promoters moved that it be discharged from the order paper. Agreed to. The House then went into committee on the Fencing Bill, which evoked a long discussion. The House adjourned at half-past 1 until 3 o'clock.
