CAMBRIDGE FARMERS' CLUB.
The usual monthly meeting of the Club was held at the Club House, Cambridge, yesterday afternoon, .at which there were present : Captain Runciman (Vice-Presi-dent, in the chair), Messrs E. B. Walker, R. Reynolds, H. Buttle, John Fisher, F. Hicks, John Runciman, G. E. Clark, Fantham, and Williams. • After the usual preliminary business, Captain Runciman read a very interesting essay on "The Rearing and Management of Swine." A short discussion followed, which, together with the essay, will appear in Thursday's issue. The Show Committee, which sat the same morning, brought up a report and programme, differing very little from that of last year. Some other business of a routine nature was transacted, and the Club rose shortly after 4 p.m.
