Bust Boihm. — It a saying of Dean Swift's, that "those who are always observing 1 others are like those who are always abroad at other men's houses, reforming everything there, while their own runs to ruin. Thjs present pleasures, obtained at a large expense, by no means balance the future miseries of a wasted patrimony, dissipated fortune, and a decayed constitution. At a meeting of the Irish Land Leauge in Dublin, it was reported that up to the present £54,366 had been received, of which £40,000 has been granted for purjwwea of relief.
