Newcastle Highway District Board. IT is hereby notified that the Newcastle Highway District Board intend to meet in the Schoolhouse, Whatawhata, on the 28th day of August, 1880, at 2 p.m., for the purpose of making a rate of One Shilling in the £ for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1880 and ending on the 31st day of March, 1881, Payable in one sum on the first day of September, 1880. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. rjlhe Tamahere Highway Distrii i Board X have resolved, in accordance with provision contained in sections 92,93 & 94 " Public Works Act, 1876 " to stop the roads undermentioned viz :—: — No 1. A road i mining* through the property of the Piako Land Association, bourded easterly by lots 91, 92, 93, 94, 95. Tauwhare containing 28 acre 3 2 roods 19 perches more or less. , No. 2. A road through the property of Mr Patrick Leslie, containing 30 acres 2 roods 22 perches and of the late John Crawford, containing 5 acres 2 perches adjoining sections 51,52, 53, 58, 59, 63, 37, 00, 5-t Tamahere. No. 3. A road through the property of Hakiriwhi Te Purewa, through section 71, containing 3 acres 1 rood 16 perches. No 4. A road through the property of Mr Patrick Leslie, section 42, containing 2 acres 2 roods 6 perches; and through the property of Mr H. W. Tinne, sections 43 and 41, containing 8 acres 3 roods 24 perches. No. 5. A road through the property of Mr Browne Wood, bounded southerly by sections 33, 34, 36, 36, 37, 38, containing 9 acres 2 roods 35 perches. No. 6. a road between sections 45, 69, and 69, 82 on the property of Messrs'. Runciman and Rhodes, containing 10 acres 2 roods 38 perches. Waitoa Highway District. IT is hereby notified that the Waitoa Highway District Board intend to meet in the Nottingham Castle Hotel, Piako, on the 21st day of August, 1880, at 11.30 a.m., for the purpose of making a Rate of Ninepence in the Pound, for the period commencing- on the Ist day of April, 1880, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1881, payable in one sum on the Ist day of September, 1880. The Rate-book is open for inspection at the repidence of Alexander Bremner, who is appointed Colleotor to the Board ; and the said Rate is to be paid to him at his residence on the said Ist day of September, 1880.
