Gazette Notices. Proclaiming Fart of South Auckland Cattle District free from Disease.— Notice No. 72, (1.5.) Hercules Robinson, Governor. A PROCLAMATION. WHEREAS His Excellency the Governor has received the certificate required by the twenty-fifth section of "The Diseased Cattle Aefy ,^7JL " (hereinafter called "the said Act"), to the effect that the South Auckland Cattle District is free from the disease called pleuro- pneumonia, with the exception of tlje following places :—: — The farm of Richard Burke, at Te Awamutu ; and The whole of the estate in the district belonging to the Waikato Land Association ; which two places remain infected places under the said Act : Now, therefore, I, Hercules George Robert Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand aforesaid, by virtue and in exercise of the power conferred upon me by the »bove : mentioned section of the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare the said South Auckland Cattle District, with the exceptions above mentioned, to be free from disease ; and such district, with the exceptions as aforesaid, shall, from the third day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, cease to be infected" wfthin' the meaning of the said Act. Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir Hercules George Robert Robinson, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Com-manaer«in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and ViceAdmiral of the same ; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty.
