EngliStd is making numerous and, important additions to her torpedo fleet. Engineer Chiarini, who formed part of the expedition to Central Africa^ is dead. A statute to Robert Raikes (originator of Sunday-schools one hnndred years ago), was unveiled on July 3d, on the Thames Embankment by the Earl of Shaftesbury. He Was a member of the Church of England.
