The Wheat Market.
THOUGHTS.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received the following market report: —
+ I thought I was a policeman, and was stationed at Ngaruawahia, and that the candle-burners were gaincra by the fact of my paying a little attention to the tiimining of their lamps.
I thought the Te Awamutu Opening Committee might have invited the Mayor of Ngaruawahia, and not have left him out simply because Hamilton was not eligible. Both places have been wonderfully free of pleuro.
I thought that thp railway formation at present going on the Whatawhata Flat, and local improvements generally throughout the distiict, reflectei the greatest credit on the Board, proving, beyond doubt, that their present engineer is a shining light, and that T. G. 8. was entirely wrong in drawing up specifications that auy contractor could at once understand. If friend T. (i. S. had been to i blame in that respect, I feel ample amends are now being made to the rate- ! payers and contractors of the district. i I thought the next annual meeting of ratepayers would be worth attending. j Thinker.
