The concert, in aid of the Public Hall, on Fiiday last, owing to the inclement weather w.h po>t|>oued till Thursday nisrht", \>t July, the opening day of the lailn.iy to Te Awamutu. There were about forty present. A short entertainment was given, including- some new talent. Eveiybody was much pleased, especially when the tickets were returned, to be available on Ist July. Barnum, or some other man, is now in possession of the Public Hill. The building has, consequently, an ancient and somewhat fishlike odour.
