THE BOROUGH BANKING ACCOUNT.
TO THK KDITOR. Sib, — The information requested by "Burgess" in your last issue is very vague indeed, and wanting in that genuine ring of candor so easily discerned in a person desirous of improving his knowledge on a subject of such vital importance as finance. However, if " Burgess' 1 is anxious to receive instruction on any point in connection with the late "banking fracas" if he will call at my place of business, in business hours, I will impart to him the essence of the whole affair, but I decline to instruct an anonymous individual. — I am, &c, !E. McGrABBIGLE. [We consider that Councillor MoGrar-
rigle is quite justified in declining to go to the trouble of explaining himself to an anonymous writer. Surely on this very important subject a man should have *' the courage of his opinion." — Ed.]
