Meeting of the Unemployed.
INVERCARGILL, Last night. A meeting of the unemployed held in C ithedial Square this morning about 200 persons were jire&ent. A committee was appointed to petition the American Government to help them from here to America aud other centres of population.
New Invention. Chas. Cooper, of Ovfori,announces that he has invented an inexpensive pl.m for converting a wire-binding and reaping machine into two bindeis.
