Ameership of Afghanistan. London, May 20.
The London Press confirms a report which has lately been circulated to the effect that the Ameership of Afghanistan has been offered to the Afghan Pretender, Abdurrahman Khan. The oft'ei* is said to have been made in consequence of Abdurrahman's friendly relations with the British Government, and in order to conciliate the Afprhans and maintain the dynasty of Dobb Mahomed.
