Hercules Robinson, Governor. Under and in pursuance of the powers vested in me by the seventh section of the Act of the Provincial Council of Auckland iutituled MTtie Highway Act, '1874, "irad •' The Abolition of P.O7inces Act, 1875," I, Hercules George Robert Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that, from and after the date hereof, the boundaries of the Matamata Highway District, Opunty of Piak;o, shall be those set forth in the schedule hereto.

( |} All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded towards the North- east r.by a right line from the intersection of the eastern boundary of the Pouiewa Block With the Waitoa River to the intersection of the western boun-. dary of the Turanga-o-Moana Block with the Waihou River, thence by the said Waihou River and the Weirere River ; towards the Baat and South by the Okauia Block to the Waihou River, thence by that river ; again towards the East by the Mansrawhero River to the Mangawhara Block, thence by that block, the' Mangawharo River, and again by the; said Mangawhara Block ; towards the" South bv the Waipa Block to thebWaikato River and thence by the said river ; and towards the "West by the Hinuera No." 2 Block and theTePae o-Tu Rawaru Block to > the Mangapapa River, and thence by that river and the Waitoa River to the eastern boundary of tWPourewa Block, the starting point ; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland. Mangapiko Highway District.
NOTICE is hereby given that on and after Monday, May 31st, 1880, the road leading into Alexandra over the Mangapiko stream will be closed to Traffic during the alteration to the Bridge approach. By order. N. T. MAUNDER, Secretary, M. D. B. May 22nd, 1880.
