A man named "William "Williamfs Kemp, son., a mill hand, was killed on "Wellington- Greylown railway on S iturday. It appears he was intoxicated, and sitting asleep on the platform at Silvcr-Slreum station, when the steps of the fii'bt carriage cough this logs, tlnowinghimundertho wheels. Both 1p<?« were broken, and the body fearfully nuugled. No blame is attached to the driver of the engine, he not having- time to pull up when the deceased was observad. An inquest is to be hold,
