Atrocities by Bulgarians. London, May 15.
The state of affairs in the Mote districts of Roumelia is causing much anxiety. Bands of Bulgarian soldiery have been indulging iv the utmost excesses in defiauc9 of the authorities. They have in numerous instances assailed the Mahoraedan population. Intelligence has been received that nine Turkish villages have been attacked and given up to pillage, the women outraged, and mobs of young and old slaughtered without mercy.
London, May 15 Owing to the turbulence caiued by the men at Roban and Elsytb, the military have been employed to preserve order. Thirty thousand operatives have struck at Blackburn. It is hoped the dispute will shortly be arranged
