MONDAY, the 24th inst., being the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen, the usual Monthly Meeting of the above Club is postponed to the following Monday, the 31st inst. WALTER SCOTT, Secretary. TTNDER and in pursuance of the U powers vested in the Council of the Borough of Hamilton by "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1876," and the Acts amending the same, the Council of the said Borough does hereby notify that it has established a Pound upou those premises, being Allotment No. 225 a in the town of Hamilton West, and Allotment No. 36 in the Town of Hamilton East, and that the said premises be and be used as public pounds.

Fergusson, Esq. :— 1 Bay Mare, no brands visible, hind feet white, blazed face, lame, suftering from a sore back, apparently in foal; owner unknown : for trespassing on the Gorton Estate at Cambridge, for which Five Pounds sterling- damages is claimed ; and, in default of being released, the above mare will be sold at the Public Pound at Cambridge on the 25th day of May, 1880, at noon.
