Turkey and Russia. Constantinople, May 17.
The assassin of Commeroff, the late attacho to the liussian Embassy here, has not yet suffered the sentence of death passed upon him. The t ultan, it appears, made a proposal to the Czar of Russia who had previously demanded the execution of the assassin that the death sentence bhould be commuted. The Czar, however has refubed to consent to this, and repeats his demand that the death sentence should be carried out.
