Storey. Judge : Major Jackson. Handicappers : Messrs. Weatherill, Bertram, and J. R Roche. Clebk of Scales : Mr Bertram. Starter : Mr Watters. Clebks of Cotjr-e : Messrs W. Higginson and Pollard. Maiden Plate, of 15 soys. For all horses, three years old and upwards, that have never won a public stake exceeding 10 soys. Distance, l£ miles. Weight for age. Entrance", 20s. Second horse save his stake. Handicap Hurdle Race, of '20 soys, with a sweep of 1 soy each for starters i amount accruing from sweep to go to second horse. Distance 2 miles, over eijrhl flights of hurdles 3 feet 6 inches. Nomination, 10s. ; acceptance, 20s. Te Awamutu Cup Handicap, of 40 hove., with a hweep of 1 soy. each for starters ; amount accruing from sweep to go to second hoi'bo. Distance, 2 miles. Nomination, 205. ; acceptance, 30s. Selling Hack Race, of 10 soys. Distance, 1 mile. Weight, lO&t. Winner to be sold for £15 ; surplus if any, to be divided between the • funds and second horse. Entrance, 10s. Post entries. Publicans 1 Pur^e Handicap, of 2-3 soys., with a sweep of 1 soy. each for starters ; amount accruing 1 from sweep to go to second horse. Distance lj miles. Nomination, 15n. ; acceptance, 15s. Handicap to appear immediately after the Cup is decided. Acceptances to close at 2.30 p.m. Ladies' Purse, of 20 soys. For horses three years old and upwards. Distance 1 { miles. Welter weight for age. Entrance, 20s. Consolation Handicap, of 10 soys. For all horses beaten at the meeting. Distance, 1 mile. Nomination, ss. ; acceptance, 10s.
CONDITIONS. The V.R.C. rules will be strictly adhered to. 11 disputes arising in connection with the racing to be settled by the stewards, whose decision shall be final. Nominations for Hurdles, Cup, and Publicans' Purse to be sent in to the Secretary not lat r than 8 p.m. on Wednesday, the 12th May. Weights to appeir in Waikato Times and N.Z.
