At the wool sales to-day 9900 bales were offered, making a total of 225,600 bales catalogued since the opening. The tone of the market is quiet. For merino fleece and mei'ino lambs the market is 2^d to 3d lower, as compared with the previous sale. The wool auction closes on June Bth. There are holidays till Wednesday.
