SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT OHA UPO.

On Tuesday afternoon Dr Sandes, when at Ngaruawahia, received a telegram from Ohaupo, requesting him to proceed up immediately, Vincent Carl, son of Mr Carl of Ohaupo, having broken his leg. The accident happened in the following way: — While removing a log from the saw-pit one end slipped, striking him on the right leg, and fracturing both bones about three inches above the ankle. Dr Sandes set the limbs, and the patient is doing well.
