Loan and Mercantile Agency's Report.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency rtport, under date London, 3rd May :—Wool:: — Wool : Competition is decreasing, and quotations are on an average Id to lid per lb. lower than at the opening of sales. The principal decline has been in crossbred, medium and 'superior ; greasy having declined Hd to 2d per lb^ .The home trade are purchasing sparingly ; • there is, however, moderate demand on French account, but the German demand is dull. Up to date 114,000 bales have been sold.
