NOTICE. rTIHE South Auckland Cattle Board X having found Pleuro-pneumonia to exist on the property of the Waikato Land Association hereby declare the district comprised within the following . boundaries to be an infected place, under the Order-in- Council dated 15th March, 1880, and the Diseased Cattle Act Amendment Act, 1873. The boundaries above alluded to are as follows, viz. : — Boundaries. — Commencing at the north side of the new bridge across the Waikato River at Hamilton, continuing along the east bank of the river to a point where the railway bridge crosses the Waikato River at Ngaruawahia ; thence along the east pide of the railway to the railway bridge across the Mangawaro Creek ; thence along the south sid6 of the Mangawaro Creek to where it crosses the confiscated line ; thence along the confiscated line, in a southerly direction, to where it crosses the Waitakaruru Creek at Tahuroa ; thence along Whyte's road to Whyte's bridge; thence in a straight line to the Te Raunga eel weir; thence along the north bank of the Mangaonui Creek to its junction with the Waikato River ; thence along the east bank of the Waikato River to the north side of the new bridge which crosses- tho Waikato at Hamilton.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Mangapiko Highway Trustees intend to Strike a Rate of Ono Shilling in the £ upon the values of rateable property as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the district, on SATURDAY, May the 22nd, 1880. PUBLIC NOTICE having been given by the Pukekura District Board, that it was proposed to stop the road running ' between lots 58, 59a and 80, Parish of Pukekuva, the road running between lots 12, 13, 14a, and 15, also that between lots 14a and 15, Parish of Puke kura,the road running between lots 19 and 20, Parish of Pukekura, the road running between lots 128 and 130, also that between lots 128, 130, 131, 132, 133, 143, 142, 141, and 123, Parish of Pukekura, the road running between lots 120, 121, 122, 123,139, 140 and 141 Parish of Pukekura. the road running between lots 308, 310, 311, 313, Parish of Te Rapa, the road running between lots 307, 309, 310, 313, 314, 330, 329, 322, 319 ami 315, Parish of Teßapa, The roacl running between lots 319, 321, 332 a, 333 v, 334, 327, 326 a, 325, 324, 323, and 322, Parish of Te Rapa, the road running between lots 318, 320, 321, 332 a, 332, and 338, Parish of Te Rapa, the roacl running between lots 3, and 4, Parish of Pukekura, the road lurning between lots 7, and S, Parish of Pukekura. The Ratepayers ot the district, having decided that the above road should be stopped, and the County Council having confirmed their decision, under the powers contained in " The Public Works Act, 1876," I hereby give notice that the said roads are STOPPED. Conditions :
Three to start or no race Entrance for Handicap Races, Nos. 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 16, 17, 19, with subscriptions to the funds of 10a 6d, colors, and all performances for the last two years must be forwarded to the secretary, Mr J. T. Camp, on Monday, May 10th, 1880, before 10 p.m. ; all other events wil 1 close on the ground, at 12 o'clock sharp. The decision of the Committee will be final.
