The proposal is to extend the operations of the existing Waikatc Swamp Company by the purchase and drainage of further areas of land, in addition to that already dftfned* '. and\to tsetjtle the-, V n ole "with small farmers. The prospectus "points out I that in May last' when a valuation of the prpperty was made it ,was found fco be worth £259,000 but' that' since then a further 'sum of £30,000 fyojild have been spent in imprd vements,^ thereby raising the value to £300,000.
