THE THAMES-WAIKATO ROAD. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.] [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] Grahamstown, Yesterday.
The Comity Council has received from Government to-day £4500 ; the .greater part for construction of the road through Komata to Paeroa, and £1500 on road to Katikati and Tauranga. The Government state that it is their intention to afford means of direct communication from East Coast to Thames and Waikato.
