HAMILTON LIGHT INFANTRY BAND.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — A coucert was given on the Bth March in Mr Gwynne's garden in aid of the band fund, and was liberally supported by the public, under the impression that, according to advertisement, the proceeds would be devoted to defraying the cost of the instruments. I am credibly informed that the net proceeds of that concert— between £9 and £10— have been divided amongst the individual members of the band. I think some explanation regarding this apparent extraordinary misappropriation of the results is due to the public. — I am, &c, Citizen.
