Volunteer Announcements.
District Orders. Te Awamutu, March 17, 1880. THE Waikato Cavalry Volunteers will commence the usaal half yearly drill on Thursday, March 2oth instant. The different troops will proceed to the Thames to take part in the Easter Review. Officers commanding troops will issue instructions accordingly. Fines will be strictly enforced against absentees. TE AWAMUTU CAVALRY VOLUNTEERS. Te Awamutu, 18th March, 1880. Tboop Obders by Majob Jaokson Commanding. rHE Te Awamuta Troop Cavalry Volunteers will parade at Ohaupo on Thursday, 25th inst., at 9 a.m. Waggon will leave Ohaupo punctually at 9 30. with Carbines, Swords, and Kit. An escort will be told off to convoy waggon. A Nosebag and Tether rope will be provided each trooper on reaching first mid-day halt, where forage will be provided for horses. The Troop will camp at Wood's Hotel the first night. Next day will proceed to Paeroa, where they will camp for the night, marching into Thames between 3 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, 27th inst. War.
