TAURANGA, Yesterday.

ANOTHER LAND PUECHASE AGENT IN TROUBLE. Abraham Warbrick, Native Interpreter, an old resident here, and ono of the Land Purchase gang here, appointed by the Grey Ministry, was proceeded against in the Police Court on Saturday, by Mr Batkin, Auditor Public Accounts, under the Public Revenues Act, 1878, charged with neglecting to appear in answer to a precept of the prosecution to give evidence regarding certain public accounts. The affair arising out of the land purchase agency of J. C. Young, committed for trial on a charge of embezzlement of Governrnpnt monies. Dufaur appears for defendant.
