HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
The nomination of candidates for three of the vacant scats in tho Hamilton Borough Council took place on Tuesday, and as four names have been given in a poll will necessarily take place on Tuesday, next. The candidates nominated were as follows: — Mr Lees, proposed by Captain Dawson, and seconded by Mr Williamson ; Mr McGarrigle, proposed by Mr A Campbell, and seconded by Mr W. Black ; Mr Mullions proposed by Mr Moses, and seconded by Mr C. JLaishley ; and Mr White, proposed by Mr W. Camming, and seconded by Mr R. Harris.
