The following is the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company's London market report for the 13th March :—: — Wool.— The sales closed at an average improvement of Hd to 2d per lb. on last sales. The sales closed firmly. We expect next sales will open at about present quotations. The following advances have been established :— Superior greasy, l£d to 2d per lb ; scoured, 2cl to 3d ; superior combing, washed, Id to l£dj combing, washed, 2d : clothing, washed, Id ; crossbred, greasy, 3d ; combing, washed, 3d ; scoured, 3d. Up to date 189,000 bales have been sold, and 106,000 bales have been taken for export. Leather. — Market flat. Best sides are worth llfd each. • Tallow is dull of sale. Mutton is worth 36s 6d, and beef 35s 6d per cwt.
