PIAKO. (By Our Special Reporter.)
Tuesday. Great preparations are being nude for the pigeon match and the races. Mr Wood, of the Nottingham Castle Hotel, has got about 100 strong birds for to-niorrow's match, and good sport is anticipated- Several visitors are already in the district for the races, and three or four horses have already arrived from the Thames. The course is in splendid order, the late rain having 1 greatly improved it. Some exellent racing is expected.
