THE IMPERIAL BUDGET. London, March 11.

In the House of Commons to-day, the Chancellor of the Exchequer delivered the budget speech, In the course of which he showed that the revenue for the past financial year amounted to £80,000,000, and the expenditure to £84,216,000. He estimated the revenue for the ensuing financial year at £81,360,000 and the expenditure at £81,485,000. To meet the deficiency of the ])revious year, £6,000,000 of exchequer bills will be converted into terminable annuities. There will be no increase of taxation.
