Nominations for handicaps (Hurdles, Handicap, and Trot), to be sent addressed to *' T. G. Sandes, Box 27, Hamilton Post-office " (or by telegram), on or before Saturday, February 28th, 1880, at 8 p.m. Weights will be published on Tuesday, the 2nd of March, 1880, in the Waikato Times. Acceptances and general entries to be made on or before Friday, the 12th March, at 8 p.m., addressed as above. All jockeys, except those in the Maori Bacc, rlack Race, and Flutter, to ride in colors or they will not be permitted to start. No entry will be received without being accompanied by the requisite amount of cash, nor later than the time named. In all post entry races four horses to start or no prize will be given. Waikato 1 urf Club rules will be strictly adher&d to in all matters connected with the meeting. Entries tt state name and age of horse, also pedigree so far as known, and colors of riders. No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition : That all disputes, claims, a»d objections arisingout of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. Protests to be accompanied by 1 soy., which will be forfeited if the protest is not sustained.
