OAMARU, Last Night.
A fire broke out this morning in Thames-street, destroying several buildings, boarding-house, Roughton and Ricklington's boot factory, Freyer's furniture shop and an unoccuupied shop. Stock entirely destroyed. Insurances: New Zealand, 1100; British, 450; Liverpool London and Globe, 400 ; South, British. 200. Latest. Sydney Stephens, chief officer of Wakahipu was fatally injured through, a sling breaking, and falling in the hole.
