Maiden Plate of 12sovs: ll l t miles, weight for age, for three year olds and upwards that have never won a stake (matches exoepted), exceeding osovs. Entrance lsov. 3. Piako Handicap of 30sovs: sweepstakes of 2sovs. each to go to second horse, distance 2 miles. Nomination lsov. Acceptance llsovs. 4. Trotting Race (Distance Handicap) lOsovs : distance 3 miles, pull and go second horse to save his stake. Nomination 10s. Acceptance 10s. 5. Celling Hack Race of lOsovs : 1 mile weight 10 st. Winner to be sold for losovs. Surplus to go to Race Fund. Post entries 15s. G. Maori Race. Prize saddle & bridle value 7 guineas. 1 mile ; heats ; catch weights ; hoi'bes to be owned and ridden by Maories only. 7. The Fetal Flutter of Bsovs: no weight under 7st.; mile. Post entries 15s 8. Consolaiion Handicap of Ssov.s : ] } miles* for all beaten horses. Nomination os. Acceptance 10s. dominations for handicaps (Hurdles, Handic.ip, and Trot), to be sent addressed to " r. G. Sandes, Box 27, Hamilton Post-office " (or by telegram), on or before Saturday, February 28th, 1880, at 8 p.m. Weights will be published on Tuesday, the 2nd of March, 13S0, in the Waikato limes. Acceptances and general entries to be made on or before Friday, the 12th March, at 8 p.m., addressed as above. All jockeys, except those in the Maori ■ Race, ti ack Race, and Flutter, to ride in colors or they will not be pprinitted to start. No entry will be received without being accompanied by the requisite amount of cash, nor later than the time named. In all post entry races four horses to start or no prize will be given. Waikato I'urf Club rules will bo strictly adhertd to in all matters connected with the meeting. Entries t~> state name and age of horse, also pedigree so far as known, and colors of riders. No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition : That all disputes, claims, a»d objections arising out of the racing bhall bo decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of thin programme &hall to fiual. Protests to be accompanied by I bow, which will be forfeited if the protest is not sustained.
