(PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
NEW PLYMOUTH, Yesterday. The Armed Constabulary force lately stationed at Stoney Creek moved to their new camping- ground at Runehu yesterday. The natives at Runehu made not the slightest opposition to the Constabulary coming. They are telling them that they could fix their camp where they liked. The chief Te Mohi intends making a present to Colonel Roberts as soon as the tents are fixed. The site of the new camp is about 200 yards on the site of the old telegraph-office, and is on a stream called Haumianga. There were about 260 men belonging to the force there, besides the working party, which consists of about 80 men, who will be under the charge of Mr C. W. Hursthouse. The Royal Commission concluded its sitting at Waitara last night, and arrived in town this morning.
