Sir, — I am informed that the real difficulty m the way of prompt and efficient action to prevent the spread of pleuropneumonia, lies m the fact of the present Attorney-General being a large shareholder m the Company which is importing the cattle, and probably the disease with them. Editors are supposed to know everything, so perhaps you can tell me whether my information is correct, and so oblige o>a Who Dreads tiik Disease. Te Awamutu, March 3rd, 1880. [The Attorney-General is a shareholder m the Piako Swamp Company ; and for "^hat very reason is more particularly interested m staying the spread of pleuro. —Ed.]
