Cambridge Branch Railway. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.] (FROM OUR SPECIAL REPORTER.) Cambridge, Last Night.

A meeting of the Cambridge Kaihvay Committee was held this afternoon for the purpose of receiving the report of Mr Grwynneth, C.E., as to the length and cost of the proposed railway line. From the report it appears that the total cost of the line, which will be 13^ miles long, will be £31,000 ; this includes everything. Complete plans were laid on the table. Mr Gwynneth offered to undertake, at the sum named, to give security for its due completion. After some consideration a sub-committee was appointed to wait upon the Minister for Public Works during his approaching visit and to report to a future meeting.
