LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR.
When man shall keep the great command ; Feeling the same for self and neighbour : \\ hen right alone shall rule the land, When .ill shall live by honest labour. When justice, lo\e and charit>, Bring peace on earth, and naught to mar it; When all shall live bv truth made free, The world will be the better tor it. When parsons care less for sinning gold, Laving up treasure more by giving ; To feed the hungry, poor and told, And teach men by example wajs of living. When parsons shall own and love the truth, And no more crucify and scar it : When all mankind prize worth of mind, The world will be the better for it. W. bLOANE. Te Awtimutu, March ist, 1880.
