TE AWAMUTU EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
„ TO THE JSMTOR. T Sra,— With regard to the report hereon appearing in your issue of Thursday, I beg to refer you to the detailed account published in the Auckland Evening Star, of the 25th inst. Owing to the ruling of the chairman, Mr W.nstone (who is one of the proposed commissioners), the entire proceedings will, no doubt, be properly adjudicated upon by the Board of Education. The fact that on the Committee—which the Chairman prevented us from nominating— the twoclergymen of the township were named, is proof of an educational qualification as to some of its members. # % The other proposed Commissioner is an able and competent gentleman, and his appointment by the Board as "sole Commissioner," will give satisfaction to all concerned, — I am, &c, A. Lover of Justice.
