NELSON, Last Night.

COLONIAL t'IRIVC. Colonial Firing Rifle (.'amp at Nelfcon : Members of the Rifle Association and all local companies mubtered at church parade yesterday. To-day nil members arrived iv camp. The morning was occupied in getting into quarters. Arrangements for firing are completed ; the'ranges are almost the same as last year. Colonel Pack is in command, Major Lean, Camp Adjutant ; Captain Webb, acting Secretary. One of the Auckland carbine men is sick, and not able to compete in tho first match. All Auckland men are comfortably fixed up in camp. Deputations waited on committee and represented that there are more carbines than rifles on the ground, and urged fairer share of prizes.
