BOROUGH COUNCIL ELECTION.
There was a full list of candidates for the Borough honours at the nomination on Tuesday, although a report had got about that the dates fixed not being in accordance with the requirements of the Act the election would be illegal. Such, however has been found not to be the case. There were five candidates nominated, Messrs W. C. Breakell, Isaac Coates, James Coombes, R. Gwynne, and W. Price.
