COMMERCIAL INTELLIGENCE.
Waikato Times Office, Monday Evening. Auckland Stock and Share Market.— There lias been a decided improvement in the Stock Market, money is becoming more plentiful and the prices of most of our local securities show a marked change for the better. Business is however being limited as the advance in value is as yet hardly sufficient to tempt holders to quit, and investors find the greatest difficulty in completing their purchases, except at a considerable advance on current rates ; Bank of New Zealand, New Zealand Shipping, New Zealand and Mutual Insurance shares arc in request. The Gas Company have announced their usual dividend of 15 per cent, and shares have been placed at £8 ioi> cum dividend.
