AFFAIRS SERIOUS IN AFFGHANISTAN.
London, January 29. The latest news from Afghanistan states that the insurgents are increasing, and that the situation is serious. The late Governor of Jellalabad has joined the rebels.
Calcutta, January 31. The condition of affairs in Afghanistan is unsettled. The malcontents axe railing Ghuzzui, and declare that they will fight unless Yakoob Khan is reinstated.
