Auckland Cattli: Mxrkiil. — Mr Alfred Buckland's Weekly Report : On Friday last, at the Haj market, a limited supply of fodder brought from 2s qd to 4s the cwt. Horse stock were in full numbers, and better inquiry than for several weeks. Heavy draught brought from £32 to £40; medium and light harness, £19 to £23 ; riding and pack hort.es, £6 to £16 10s each. At the hide and skin sale on Tuesday, sound hides brought from 3d to 3sd the lb.; pelts, from 2d; skins, nd to ,js t-ach ; wool in grease, from 6d to 7^d the lb. At Papakura, there was. a full attendance of buyers, buta limited supply of tattle. All stock lrrought forward found ready buyers. At Remuera, consequent on the usual weekly sale being on the Wednesday, there was a less attendance than customary. Dairy cattle were in usual numbers, and better woith. Store cattle s-rni ce-ly represented. Fat cattle in average, no head yarded. Fat beasts were yarded in iull numbers, the cargo from Wanganui eliciting keen competition. On Wednesday, at Waiuku, the jards were filled, buyers were plentiful, and prices were in favor of the vendor. We quote dairy cow s from £7 10s to /Ti 2; calves, from 35s to £2 17s od ; yearlings, A" 1 is to Li 15s; grown steers, L 4 15s to L 6 us. Sheep.— The. Newm.irket Yards were completely crammed with sheep on ruesdnj, and prices ruled about the same as last week" Inferior stores (ewes) sold at 2s 6d to ss; store wethers, 7s od; iat \vethen>, is bd per 81bs. ; ewes, is 4a.
