TIMARU.
F. A. Sims, a well-known , mer-, chant, was oharged, on the information of the manager of the Colonial Bank, with feloniously stealing 20 half-chests of tea, 6 hundred of sugar, and a qurter-cask of whiskey and brandy, the property of the Bank. The evidence for the prosecution is now going on. It seems that the goods, were seized by the Bank, Sims afterwards offered to purchase them, the manager assenting. Sims reremoved the articles, sold them by auction, and then filed his shedule, and when the manager wanted his money, he refered him to the creditor's trustee. v
