Trotting Race (Distance Handicap) lOsovs : distance 3 miles, pull and go second horse to save his stake. Nomination 10s. Acceptance 10s. 5. Selling Hack Rack of lOaovs : 1 mile weight 10 st. Consolation- Handicap of Bsovs: l\ miles for all beaten horses. Nomination sb. Acceptance 10s. Nominations for handicaps (Hurdle 3, Handicap, and Trot), to be sent addressed to " T. 6. Sandes, Box 27, Hamilton , Post-office " (or by telegram), on or before Saturday, February 28th, 1880, at 8 p.m. Weights will be published on Tuesday, the 2nd of March, 1880, in the Waikato Times. Acceptances and general entries to be made on or before Friday, the 12th March, at 8 p.m., addressed as above. All jockeys, except those in the Maori Race, jriack Race, and Flutter, to rido in colors or they will not be permitted to start. No entry will be received without being 1 accompanied by the requisite amount of cash, nor later than the time named. In all post entry races four horses to start or no prize will be given. Waikato Turf Club rules will be strictly adherc-d to in all matters connected with the meeting. Entries t) state namo and ago of horse, also pedigree »o far as known, and colors of riders. No entry will be received for any of tho races except upon this couditiou: That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing bhall bo decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or thoso whom they may appoint. Their decision, upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. Protests to be accompanied by 1 soy., which will be forfeited if the protest ia not sustained. Qualification subscription for Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, 105 ; for 5, G, and 7, us. If funds will permit, stakes will be increased pro rote.
