A deputation to-day waited on the Governor, to urge the commutation of thi death sentence in the case of the bushranger Kogan. His Excellency promised to submit the matter to the Executive, but he held out no hopes of a commutation.

The affairs are adjusted of the Australian European Bank, and the shareholders receive 325, equivalent to the losf of 38s per share.
