COMMERCIAL.
Waouto Times Office, Monday Evening. CAMBRIDGE HOrtSE S vLE. At Mr Buokland's hone sale on January 10th, horses went rery low indeed. It would seetn as if both dealers and settlers have parted with all their spare cash during the holidays. The lot of 37 horses (all told), from Bay of PJenty, were very patiently sold, but fetched theridioulously small figure of £79 15s. The owner was disappointed, but has evidently not much experience in timing the market, fie sold one pony aare on the road to a Maori for £7, which would have gone for about £4 to-day. Af terwarda a good many wellbred animals were sold at from £4 10s to £23.
Ik consequence of the change in the Proprietary of the Wahcato Times, I have to request that all accounts owing on the 30th November last be paid forthwith. F. A WHITAKER. Hamilton, 22nd December, 1879.
