Waikato Times Office, AUCKLAND CATTLE MARKET. Wednesday Evening.

MR A. nUGKLAND'a WEEKLY REPOKT. The cattle sales at Waiuku and Ptikekohe were moderately supplied with stock. Price* range higher than usual at this season of the year, consequent on the abundance of food. At the wool hale, on Wednesday; there were not so many bales offered as expected. Prices were throughout equal to the highest obtained this season. Wools in grease ranged from 6jd to Bjd ; washed wools, 9jd to 1 Id per lb At Remuera, on Thursday, fat cattle were in average supply, 137 head sold; prices advanced 2s to 3s the lOOlbs., and ranged for good steers from 27s to 30s, and for cow 3 from 25s the lOOlbs. Sheep were in moderate- supply ;' choice pens Is per head better worth, ordinary quality at late values. 1 ambs in full numbers, but in good demand ; fair quality brought from 9i to Us, choice, 12s to 14 each.

MESSRS HUNTER AND NOLANS WEEKLY BEPOBT. Horses. — The mai-ket has laokofl animation, but the demaud has been steady Ou Saturday, there avjis scn-cely an average number of entries. We quote uaoks from £o 5$ to £13 : light harness horses, £1G to £23 ; draught horses, £11. Cattle. — Activity has chai acteri^ed the market. There was a good muster at Newmarket, with the exception of stores, which were well represented at Papakura. We quote dairy cows from £7 10s to £10 ss; calves from £2 to £2 17a 6d ; yearlings, from £3 2s Gd to £3 » ss ; 'B-months-old steers, £i to £1 15s; grown steers, £o os to i.6 ; beef, 28s to 30a. Sheep. — The supply has been moderate, and from Is 4d to Is 8d per Blbs. Lambs were plentiful, and sold at from 6s 6d to 14s 3d.
