Waikato Times Office, AUCKLAND CATTLE MARKET. Wednesday Evening.

KB A. BUCKLAND'S WEEKLY REPOBT. At i he weekly sale of horses, held at the Haymarket on Saturday last, none of a good class were offered; but a larger number of inferior riding horses, varing in price from £5 to £9, found ready purchasers. At the Kemuera sale, held this week on Tuesday, dairy cows were dull of sale. Store cattle in limited number, and late values. Fat cattle in full supply; 147 head sold to the trade. Prices steady throughout, varing from 26s to 28s the lOOlbs., the advantage in price being with the last sold. Fat sheep were in usual supply, 400 yarded, prices regular, from 2d to 2£d per lb. Lambs in moderate number, and the advance of last week fully sustained; best quality brought from 10s to 14s each. JCBBBBS HUNTER AND NOLAN* 8 WEEKLY

REPORT. Horses.— l here was a fair supply on Saturday, but as usual the holidays have a damaging effect on the sale, although prices were sustained. We quote hacks from £6 to £16 7s 6d ; medium. £28 10s to £42 ; colts, £36 to £40. • Cattle. — There was a good muster at Newmarket on Monday, and, notwithstanding the alteration from the regular sale day, there was a good attendance of buyers. Dairy cows were better represented than of late, and prices have an upward tendency. 'I he number of stores was under ths average, but there was a lari?e number of fat beasts, for which there were much competition, at from 23s to 30s. Sheep. — I here has been a good supply, and corresponding demand. Last week's prices were fully maintained, and for some pens an advance of 2s each was given. Lambs were scarce, but of good description, and prices advanced fully 2s each. Pigs were very scarce ; prices nominal.
